Today I met Nurse Chums. She was very friendly. I got surprised when she told me that she too had total Thyroidectomy and RAI Treatment. She even should me her scar. She was surprised to see my scar which was almost undetectable.
What's more surprising is when she mentioned that most of the patients undergoing RAI treatments often experience Headaches and has High Blood pressure. Hearing this was a relief! I thought I was the only one experiencing this.
Whew!
